The Wedding Day
Your Wedding Day Photography
Wedding photographers need to have a plan going into the day. Once we gather all the information, our approach to the wedding day is broken down into three areas of focus. First, the storytelling aspect; these are the candid moments that show your day as it unfolds. This is real life in pictures; your laughter, his tear, their emotion all coming through in your wedding photos. It’s pretty powerful stuff and the reason why we are photographers.
Next up, the details. After creating an atmosphere and a theme, fretting over colors, favors, shoes, dress etc., you’re going to want to remember it all when you look through your pictures. Detail photographs of your wedding day can also add to your album design.
And last but not least are the portraits. While we don’t want to spend most of the wedding day posing you, most people want at least a few portraits of family, wedding party and some of the bride and groom alone. Basically, you tell us how many portraits you want and we’ll make it happen. It could be as little as 15 minutes or an hour and a half, it’s up to you.
For Bride and Groom portraits we try and stay away from stiff and unnatural posing. This will most likely be the only time you are away from guests the entire day so we try and create an environment that lets you have that “alone time” you might want, while creating unforgettable portraits in the meantime.
