A Church Wedding And Harrington Farm Reception
Jessica and Nick were married at Holy Cross Church in Templeton, Mass. with a Harrington Farm reception on a beautiful November day. I’ve had the opportunity of writing about photographing a friend’s wedding a few times this year and it’s placed an incredible perspective in front of me. Throughout my life, I’ve had the company of great friends, and no matter how much time has passed between seeing them we can always pick up where we left off. Obviously this wedding was a bit special for me because Nick and I go way back… back to Leominster High School, to be exact it was 9th grade Typing class where I met Nick. And fast forward 20 years, I was thrilled when Nick picked up the phone to ask me to be their photographer. It was sort of a crazy Summer, but I finally got to meet Jessica a few days before the wedding and I immediately knew that Nick had made the best decision of his life. We hit it off immediately and it felt like I had known her for as long as I’ve known Nick.
It was a blustery day, but we all braved the cold and wind for some outdoor photos at Elm St. School in Gardner, MA. Plus, when the bride says to the groomsmen “stop complaining, if I can do this in a wedding dress, you can do it in a tux!” Then on to a wonderful ceremony at Holy Cross Church in Templeton and a Harrington Farm reception in Princeton, MA. We even got some snow!
