Sofia and George were married at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Manchester, NH and planned a reception at the Hyatt Boston Harbor. It was great to experience this wedding up close as the photographers. These two THE perfect couple, so in their presence you just feel this warm and fuzzy feeling all the time. This wedding had a lot of anticipation surrounding it; we had originally met this couple in early 2012 for a Fall wedding (of that same year). As it turned out, they eventually found Spring 2013 worked out better and so we had to wait just a few more months to experience this amazing wedding.
The church, St. George in Manchester, NH, has a lot of character and we were able to create some interesting photos during the ceremony. The traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony allows for some great opportunities on its own, but on this day we had some fantastic light pouring in to the church through one of it’s many sky lights. As a wedding photographer, it’s always fun to try to keep up with the action as the light keeps changing; and by fun I mean incredibly frustrating until you nail the picture.
The reception at the Hyatt Boston Harbor went off without a hitch. It was a beautiful Spring evening with the view of the Boston skyline behind the tent. The guests danced the night away, money was thrown everywhere and there were more smiles than anyone could count. Sofia and George were gracious hosts and it was a pleasure to attend this wedding as their photographers. Please enjoy the photos below:
