Kasey and Corey planned a beautiful Tower Hill Botanical Gardens wedding this past August!

This was Ashley and I’s first time to Tower Hill and we’d been anticipating this wedding for awhile. An amazing venue for a wedding, Tower Hill was incredibly impressive. Kasey and Corey sure did pick an amazing spot to declare their love for each other.

Here’s some of our favorite photos:

Jamie and Jason planned a fantastic August, BC – Hyatt Boston Harbor wedding!

Have you ever photographed a wedding and hoped that both of the families would invite you to their holiday party? Well that was the case with the Richardson-Brown wedding. It would be hard pressed to find another wedding that brought us into the day and treated us like family from start to finish. Ashley and I spent 12.5 hours with this crew and might have stayed for the after-party but we would have been the ones sleeping in the corner.

Ashley met the bride, Jamie, and her entourage at the Hyatt Boston Harbor for getting ready photos, while I met the groom in Southie at their apartment for some groomsmen shenanigans. After that is was on to the first look on campus at Boston College. What better place for a first look and portraits, huh?

This wedding was certainly one for the books and even a slight hurdle thrown at us by the church couldn’t even ruin the day. Both Ashley and I had gone in thinking that we’d be able to photograph the ceremony just discreetly with no flash. Well, upon arrival we were told “no photographs at all.” Uuuuuuuuum, okaaaaaaaaaay? That really put us in a difficult situation, but we are pros and were able to sneak a few photographs from the back. Some congregations view wedding photography as a distraction to the religious ceremony, and although it sucks for us, we understand. Honestly, photographers are not the most important people at the wedding so we’d never put ourselves in a position to take away from the ceremony.

Once we were through the ceremony, it was back to the Hyatt for some portraits and reception. Everyone wants that beautiful, city skyline backdrop that the Hyatt offers and we had the perfect sky for it on this night. A storm was rolling in but from where we were it looked like we were safe… for a while. It did start to rain a bit after we finished up portraits but we didn’t get it as bad as they did west of us. It was awesome hearing the thunder and seeing the lighting strike miles away.

Jamie and Jason really looked forward to the party and they were not disappointed! The band, SOHO got everyone going early and kept them on the dance floor all night. There were points in the night that I couldn’t even get on the dance floor to shoot because everyone and I mean everyone was out there. It was a pretty amazing day all around!

We literally could not be more happy for Jamie and Jason and their families! I hope we get a chance to see them all again in the future!

Paul and Kelsey planned a beautiful Hyatt Boston Harbor wedding this early August. Not sure we could have had a better time at a wedding! Also, how awesome is this sailboat positioning during portraits? If you’re out there and you see this, I owe you one, sailor!

Mr. and Mrs. DJ Brogs of MassRhythm Enternainment have been planning this wedding for over a year and we’ve had it circled on our calendar for that long too. We first got to know Paul as DJ Brogs from a wedding a few years back and we hit it off immediately. First off, he’s a fantastic DJ, secondly, he’s a great guy and a hard working entrepreneur who built his company from the ground up. We definitely knew we wanted to keep DJ Brogs in our network, but we were over the moon when he and his fiance Kelsey invited us to be their wedding photographers. When industry folks want to bring us on board it means a lot to us.

Kelsey and Paul wanted their wedding to be a fun and easy experience for their guests so they planned everything at the Hyatt Boston Harbor. This venue has one of the best views of Boston and we love the opportunity to photograph here. Also we knew going into it that after the portraits and ceremony it was “game on” for the reception. There was some epic music, a break dancer, a couple of back flips, some Italian dancing and a dessert bar that would rival anything you’ve ever seen at a wedding. This wedding was beyond memorable and we feel honored to have been able to make these photos.

Here’s a small selection of our favorites.

Danielle and Anthony planned a beautiful Holy Cross College wedding this past July in Worcester, MA.

What an incredible day! Danielle and Anthony are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and it was an absolute honor to photograph their wedding. It was one of those summer days where it might rain or it might not rain and honestly it didn’t even matter. This day was about love, not about perfect weather! In the end it did rain, for a little bit but then the sun came out and it was a gorgeous day that allowed for us to make some memorable portraits outside.

The campus at Holy Cross College is amazing. We love photographing weddings here. There are so many different locations around the St. Joseph’s chapel that are ideal for photography it’s no wonder that Danielle and Anthony planned their wedding here.

Below are some of our favorite images from the day!

Katie and Matt planned a fantastic Holy Cross – Lord Thompson Manor Wedding this past July.

Ashley and Brendon were the lucky photographers on this gorgeous day in Massachusetts and Connecticut. The College of the Holy Cross is up there in our minds when it comes to college ceremony locations. The campus is beautiful and ideal for wedding photographers. Lord Thompson Manor is also on our short list of amazing wedding venues in New England. I remember my first conversation with Katie and she was just really excited about booking these two venues for her wedding.

Looking through these images I noticed a constant throughout the wedding day. The smiles… The looks of pure joy seen in these images from the bride and groom really tell the story. These two are perfect for each other. My favorite, if I had to select a favorite, would be the image when they are leaving the church after the ceremony. It’s real, it’s honest and it is beautiful.

We are so happy for Matt and Katie and feel fortunate to be able to make these images for them! Here’s just a sample from the day:
