Tracy and Pouya planned a beautiful wedding at the Boston Park Plaza this past weekend. This wedding combined Chinese and Jewish traditions to create a wonderful multicultural nuptial. It was a busy day with lots of ceremonies and traditions that added so much to the photo story of this wedding. The Park Plaza Hotel was a perfect venue, offering plenty of space for the Chinese tea ceremony, ketubah signing and marriage ceremony.
I really enjoyed working with Tracy and Pouya. They are incredibly thoughtful couple and after their engagement session at the Boston Public Library I knew that their wedding was going to be fun to photography.
The light was perfect in the Boston Public Gardens where we planned the first look and formal portraits. Tracy and Pouya planned a lot of extra time for family and wedding party portraits. Planning some buffer time really helped us not run late for the ceremonies. It’s great for us as wedding photographers when our clients think ahead like this.
After all the ceremonies were complete it was time for the party. Everyone was ready to jump on the dance floor, but the bride and groom had the first chance to show off their dancing skills as they entered the reception and went right into their dance. They did such an amazing job!
